Satellite 760 G4 Model 4 – Passive Planetary 3 Phase Variable Speed Remote Control

Satellite 760 G4 is the latest generation of concrete floor diamond grinders / polishers with dual heads and a total of 6 Satellite discs or can also be fitted with 6 turbo plugs.

The remote control system allows you to guide the machine remotely with ease while you manage hoses and power leads and when polishing allows you to also apply chemicals to the floor. This system means you can potentially save on labour.

The remote control system is built to be simple and effective and is tuned to the machine which means the user has a smooth experience.

The Satellite 760 RC unit also includes an internal battery so you can move the machine without power connected so you can move the machine out of your trailer and to the jobsite and between power sources.

Remote control functions include the following;

1. Full 360 skid steer control via joystick
2. Set grinding speed forward or reverse.
3. Set forward cruise control.
4. Resume cruise control.
5. Adjust tracking left and right to keep machine in a straight line.
6. Perform a controlled U-turn while remaining in cruise control via joystick.
7. When water tank is fitted, single touch water spray.
8. Oscillation (left and right wiggle) in forward cruise or manual adjustable
9. Set max speed.
10. Display shows figures for many of the above settings,

At any time the user can flick a single switch and unlock the wheel drive to switch to manual mode. This allows the machine to be controlled manually in the event of the remote control unit has a flat battery or maybe you left the transmitter at home :-)

The included transport jockey wheel can be lowered and locked into position to allow the unit to be wheeled or driven using the remote control without any strain on the operator having to balance hte machine on the rear wheels.

The Model 4 passive planetary system is considered the workhorse of the Satellite range providing unparalleled reliability and service free life for years and years.

This machine has a super efficient transmission and powertrain that has been proven over years of service to provide thousands of hours of uninterrupted service free life and puts as much power to the grinding operation as possible.

Powered by a total of 11hp, the Satellite 760 G4-4 has a final main disc speed of between 100 to 480rpm which makes the Satellite 760 one of the most productive machines in its class.

The super fast magnetic tooling changeover has been developed by Floorex and refined over 20 years to make it possible to change over the tooling in under 60 seconds with ease without any tools or hammers.

With 360 degree LED lighting around the grinding head, the Satellite G4 makes grinding in dark areas so much easier by lighting up the floor in all directions so you can see what you are grinding, what you have ground and where you are going.

We have also removed the need to adjust the axle height on the Satellite Gen4 models with the patented Auto Head Levelling design which levels the head whilst keeping it steady.

This 760 Generation 4 Satellite machine comes with a display screen on the unit to provide feedback to the user on the status of the power and load.

Satellite Generation 4 also has an improved lifting point and a new Zero Slack handle locking mechanism that increases accuracy of user feedback from the head and also reduces the chances of damage in tough conditions.

The Legendary floating dust shroud provides perfect dust control that works even when there is very little suction flow from you vacuum or dust collector. This shroud adjusts automatically without the user ever having to adjust the height or tighten straps or Velcro strips which keeps the free silica levels down to make sure your jobsite is even safer. 

Exceptionally versatile machine, the Satellite 760 G4 has two tooling discs that offer three tapered plug holes each to accept a total of 6 X 175mm Satellite discs or 6 turbo plugs or hook and loop pads for polishing concrete using the SuprSheen system or sanding wooden floors. In addition, the new Generation 4 machines include the MAP System (Multi Accessory Point). This MAP System provides the option to install newly developed bush hammer system or other new technology as we develop them into the future. 

Use with the DustMaster DM-Series 3 motor dust extractors or the RP4000 for excellent and effective dust control.
